In a shocking incident in Kolkata, a school teacher has been accused of murdering his wife and burning her body. The victim, identified as Deepti Shukla 24, had been married for four months to her husband, Suryakant Tiwari, a teacher in a Hindi medium school in Gariahat.
The tragedy unfolded when the police recovered Deepti's charred remains from the second floor of a six-story house on Jadunath Dey Road. Following information from local residents, authorities rushed to the scene and transported the bride to Calcutta Medical College Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Post-mortem results confirmed the gruesome incident, indicating signs of burning. Subsequently, the police arrested Suryakant Tiwari, the deceased housewife's husband, in connection with the case.
